This campaign was all about using the rivalry between Jose Mourinho and Arsène Wenger to add further gravitas to an already epic fixture. It was Mourinho’s first time facing Wenger since he left Chelsea and I wanted to hype this up.
The TV spot (above) was created to grab the viewers attention, juxtaposing noise and chaos with bursts of silence to land the graphic slates. The press and billboard ads (below) were designed to inform and build excitement for the showdown of both the managers and clubs.
